The book at Springer Publishers is a joint project of scientists from Russia and Mexico

The book by Alexey Karapetyants (Southern Federal University, Russia) and Vladislav Kravchenko (CINVESTAV, Mexico) "Methods of Methods of Mathematical Physics: Classical and Modern" was published by Birkhäuser (Springer Nature) in November 2022.

This book contains detailed lectures on the Equations of Mathematical Physics, covering both classical topics and modern advances. Readers will be introduced to a variety of methods that reflect current research approaches, including the Bergmann kernel approach for solving boundary and spectral problems for partial derivative equations with variable coefficients. With its thorough treatment of the fundamentals as well as its coverage of topics not often found in textbooks, this book will be an ideal reference for advanced students and young scientists. The book "Methods of Mathematical Physics" is suitable for students of mathematical majors and can serve as a textbook for a lecture course of equations of mathematical physics as well as for more advanced study of individual topics.

For many years Alexey Karapetyants (Ph.D., professor at SFedU, director of the Regional Mathematical Center of SFedU) has been teaching the lecture course on equations of mathematical physics for students of SFedU, and in several occasions he has taught separate chapters for students of the University of Padua (Italy) and for graduate students of the University of Helsinki (Finland). Vladislav Kravchenko (Ph.D., professor of the scientific center CINVESTAV, Mexico) has taught separate chapters for graduate students of this scientific center and a semester course at SFedU.
