Since July 2020 she has been holding the position of a RMC senior researcher. Currently she is performing research in the field of theory of a real variable. She is one of leading wavelet theory specialists and published 2 monographs on the topic. She is also the author of approximately 70 scientific articles most of which were published in prestigious international journals.
The international scientific conference “Modern Methods, Problems and Applications of Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis - 2022 (OTHA 2022)” was held on 21 - 26 August 2022 in Southern Federal University, Russia. Prof. Maria Skopina from St. Petersburg State University (Russia) and Regional Mathematical Center SFedU (Russia) delivered the online lecture «Wavelet Approximation in Orlicz Spaces» as a part of biweekly Seminar on Analysis, Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics (Coordinators - Alexey Karapetyants and Vladislav Kravchenko).
